All right. Today's blog is going to come in three parts. These three things have just been floating around my head for sometime and I figure if I wrote them down I might feel better. So let's give that a try.
Part One: Kronos vs. Voldy
If you aren't big on Greek mythology Kronos overthrew his Father and ruled during mythological Golden Age until he was overthrown by his own sons Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, and imprisoned in Tartarus. So in short, he's a bad guy that wants revenge.
So I've been reading the Percy Jackson series. And I've just started the 3rd book (out of 5) and I've already found similarities between Kronos and Voldemort.
A) In Percy Jackson names are powerful. Whenever Percy says Kronos, or he's about to, Chiron tells him not to. "Kronos" is pretty much a forbidden word. Just like "Voldemort" is.
B) In the second book of Percy Jackson you find out Kronos is being "reborn" in a sarcophagus so he can rule again. Voldemort was also being reborn. First on Quirrell then in the 4th book Peter Pettigrew needed Harry's blood so Voldemort would be alive again.
C) They are both bad guys. (self explanatory)
D) They both had parental issues. Tom Riddle (Voldy) grew up in an orphanage so he never had parents and Kronos overthrew his.
Part Two: DVD Player vs. IPod.
If your DVD Player was like an IPod and it had a menu where you can see the most played DVD's what would yours be?
Mine would probably be...
A) Sweeney Todd
B) Dr. Horrible
C) Flight of the Conchords
D) Legally Blonde
Part Three: Myself vs. Myself
Everyone asks you "Want do you want to be when you grow up?"
#Truth is, I have no idea. I'm interested in so many different things I don't know what I want.
All I know is I don't want to wake up every morning and have to mozzy on along and complain about my job. I want to look forward to my job and I don't want to look at the clock every 15 minutes waiting for my lunch break. When I go into work I want to be energized and ready to go. Ya know?
Well, those are a few snip-its of what going through my brain at the moment. Do with them what you wish.
Enjoy.
